The two varieties differ in texture only. While the Smooth contains only the paste of grounded pecan and figs, the Crunchy is mixed with bits of broken pecans, which gives it the desired “crunchiness”.

I first bought this product in September, whilst visiting Alexander Park Sunday market with a friend. It was delicious, far better than any other health food shop nut spreads I have ever tasted.
I ordered 4 more jars when I returned to Wales. Unfortunately when the package arrived, the almond and coconut jar had not been sealed tightly and the product had leaked out, covering the remaining packaging in ‘oil’ and spread.
I reported the problem to the company. I received an apology and a free replacement jar (post free) immediately.
I would recommend the product to anyone. I gave it 4 stars,as I think the method of packaging could be improved.
